Hey, I’m Nick owner and skipper of the Innovation and JRFC supporter.
A soft ocean cruiser, the “Innovation” has a top speed of 38 knots (she goes hard.)
We generally spear and fish in the Keppel to Capricorn Bunker Group and the Swains, all in the Southern Great Barrier Reef. We always bring home a feed of crayfish and coral trouts, all my favourite to spear and catch. And more importantly we pick up plastic and manmade debris which we found all along the coast. JRFC intend to move towards being involved with the eradication of Crown of Thorn Starfish and as supporters of JRFC we photograph and record our own data and information for marine sustainability studies and purposes. Donation to JRFC Feed the People is also very important so I ask you all if you can help by giving any unwanted tin foods or spare blankets to donate them to JRFC.
Always remember... "Bring back more than you take!!!"

MATTHEW WRIGHT INTERNATIONAL DIVER
Hello, I'm Matthew Wright. Welcome to JRFC supporters Dive and Spear.
I have been diving all over the world since 2010. I have dived reef waters in countries such as the Phillipines, Papua, Thailand, Micronesia, Melanesia, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and many other exotic places.
I have seen many reefs around the world and have dived and photographed numerous marine ecosystems and environments.
As part of JRFC we dive the swains reefs in the Southern Great Barrier Reef region and we are currently mapping Crown of Thorns Starfish and supplying marine scientists with our real-time data and information. We are making educational material on reef health and sustainable fishing. We also pick rubbish up off the ocean floor while we are diving and we remove discarded fishing materials such as fishing lines and other debris from these delicate areas.
Keep an eye out for us next month, we will bring you footage of our adventures diving the reef and we hope you enjoy our dive photos in the JRFC DIVE GALLERY
Please donate any extra fish your not going to eat to JRFC Feed the People.
Always remember to "Bring Back More Than You Take!!!"
